viastore SOFTWARE to showcase innovations in warehouse management technology at LogiMAT 2020
viastore SOFTWARE presents its latest development project at LogiMAT: viadatVISION.

At the LogiMAT 2020 trade fair, viastore SOFTWARE will be presenting innovative solutions relating to its viadat warehouse management system in Hall 8 at Stand D07. The software house will be taking along its latest development project: viadatVISION. In its initial development stage, users will receive push messages about issues occurring in their automated logistics center if it is managed using viadat – in the complete expansion stage, viadatVISION will provide a comprehensive overview of all processes and KPIs of warehouse logistics and production, no matter which software controls these areas.

The viadat WMS manages and controls all intralogistics processes from goods receipt, production and assembly to dispatch. With viadatVISION, viastore SOFTWARE is now offering an ideal supplement: This application proactively recognizes where complications occur, notifies the user by sending a push message and makes recommendations for action. It visualizes the storage system, production and material flows and reveals weak points by means of a detailed system analysis. This relieves the strain on employees, as they no longer have to search for the problem themselves.

Another focus of viastore SOFTWARE’s trade fair presentation will be on the integration of logistics and production processes. Due to the new standard interface, viadat can now be connected to the established Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This paves the way to the Smart Factory and enables operators to achieve greater transparency and efficiently interlinked workflows. Both systems are equal partners, but they use and generate different information. The MES knows what type and quantity of product is produced by a specific machine and where any requisite material is needed in production at what time. In turn, the WMS knows where the required materials are stored and controls their supply and disposal as well as the transport in between production lines. It knows the means of transport, their characteristics and the topology of the facility and can therefore control the optimal routes and times for the transport of goods.

In Hall 3, Stand C29, affiliate viastore SYSTEMS will demonstrate its expertise in the consulting, planning and construction of turnkey automated complete systems as well as in the modernization of existing facilities.
